Troubleshooting

The headphones cable is inserted but not detected by the mobile device

The headphones cable is detected but the App does not count

  • Verify that the pin jack is completely inserted in the headset plug.
  • If you're using a smartphone with a cover, remove it and then reinsert the cable.
  • Check that the Input Type option of the App Settings Screen is set to headset port.

My App does not upload data

It can depend on various causes:

  • Internet connection problem: check your device to verify it.
  • You have no account in this website: please sign up.
  • Your device has not been registered in your People Tally Counter account: log in and add it.
  • The registered app CODE of your device is not correct: it can happen, so please check it (you can find the numeric code in the Settings Screen of the App).
  • The App has not been activated yet: go in the App Settings Screen and click the Web Storage activation button.
  • Is the updloading process enabled? Please check that the Upload Scheduling option of the App Settings is NOT set to never.
  • Is the test-mode option disabled? If enabled, events are not stored and (then) data not uploaded.
  • Are date and/or time of your device correct? It can be a reason for missing data, so take few seconds to check it.
